Dr. Ronald F. Piccolo is the Chair of the Department of Management and the Galloway Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. From 2009 – 2016, he served as the Cornell Professor of Management and Academic Director of the Center for Leadership Development & Executive Education in the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Dr. Piccolo earned a Ph.D. in management from the University of Florida, an M.B.A. from Rollins, and a Bachelors of Science in mathematics from Stetson University. He has been a visiting scholar at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany, and the Amsterdam Business School. Dr. Piccolo teaches or has taught graduate-level courses in leadership, organizational behavior (OB), research methods, and management strategy. At Rollins College, he was the recipient of the Cornell Distinguished Teaching Award (2015-2016) and the Cornell Distinguished Faculty Award (2011-2012) for outstanding teaching, research and service, and he was a keynote speaker (2012, 2013, 2014) on “Teaching Effectiveness” for the OB division of the Academy of Management.

Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Bennett is a Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. She studies the “dark side” of organizational behavior (employee deviance), insider threats to cyber security, embeddedness, pay communication, touch in the workplace, and forgiveness. Bennett has served on the editorial boards for the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She has served the OB division as a new member mentor (2017, 2018), as a member of the Best Dissertation-based paper committee (2005, 2008), and as a reviewer, symposium organizer, presenter, and discussant.

Elizabeth George (Ph.D., University of Texas at Austin) is a Professor of Management at the University of Auckland. She has an active research interest in nonstandard work arrangements and diversity in the workplace. Her work has been published in major international academic journals such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Science, and the Academy of Management Annals. In addition, her research has been used by the International Labor Organization and the US Society for Human Resource Management to help inform public policy and management practice. She served on the Board of Governors and the executive committee of the Managerial and Organizational Cognition and the Organizational Behavior Divisions of the Academy of Management. She is co-editor-in-chief the Academy of Management Annals. She has previously been co-editor in chief of Organizational Psychology Review and associate editor on the Academy of Management Annals, Australian Journal of Management, and Organization Studies. She serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and Academy of Management Discoveries. She has held academic positions at universities in Asia, Australia, and the United States.

Bradley L. Kirkman is the General (Ret.) H. Hugh Shelton Distinguished Professor of Leadership and Department Head of the Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research focuses on leadership, international management, virtual teams, and work team leadership and empowerment. He was formerly the Foreman R. and Ruby Bennett Endowed Chair in Business Administration in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He has held visiting professor positions in the Department of Management and Organizations at the University of Western Australia in 2006 and the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in 2012. His articles have appeared in such journals as the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, the Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, and Leadership Quarterly. In 2014, he was elected as a Fellow of both the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association. He was an Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Journal from 2005 to 2008 and is a current Editorial Board member for AMJ, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Organizational Psychology Review. He also received Outstanding Reviewer Awards from AMJ in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2011. He has conducted research, presented papers, and taught in several countries including Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Dubai (UAE), England, Finland, France, Israel, Mexico, the Netherlands, the People’s Republic of China, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United States.

Gilad Chen is the Robert H. Smith Chair in Organizational Behavior and an Associate Dean for Research at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He received his bachelor degree in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in 1996, and his doctoral degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in 2001. His research focuses on work motivation, adaptation, teams and leadership, with particular interest in understanding the complex interface between individuals and the socio-technical organizational context. He has won several research awards, including the 2007 Distinguished Early Career Contributions Award from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the 2008 Cummings Scholar Award from the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management. Gilad is also an elected Fellow of the Academy of Management, American Psychological Association, Association for Psychological Science, International Association of Applied Psychology, and Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology.. He served as the Editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology (2014-2020), and has also been serving as an editorial board member of the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Organizational Research Methods.

Alexandra Gerbasi is the Dean of the University of Exeter Business School.  She joined the University of Exeter in 2017. Previously, she has held posts at the University of Surrey, Grenoble Ecole de Management and California State University, Northridge. She received her Ph.D. is sociology from Stanford University and her undergraduate degree from Duke University. Her research focuses on the effects of positive and negative network ties within the workplace, and their effects on performance, leadership, well-being, thriving, affect and turnover. In addition, her research addresses how individuals recognize opportunities for collaboration and advancement in their networks.  Her research has appeared in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, Social Psychology Quarterly, and Organizational Dynamics.  Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation and Agence Nationale de la Recherche. She has formerly served as the Head of Department of Management, the Deputy Dean of the Business School.

Michael D. Johnson is the Boeing Company Endowed Professor of Business Administration in the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Michigan State University in 2006. Michael teaches Organizational Leadership and Leading Organizational Change in Foster’s EMBA and Technology Management MBA programs. He has received numerous teaching and scholarly awards. Wladislaw (Wlad) Rivkin is an Associate Professor in Organizational Behavior at Trinity Business School. He has completed his Ph.D. at the Technical University of Dortmund. Before joining Trinity College Dublin, he worked at the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors in Germany, and at Aston University in the UK. Wlad’s research agenda focuses on how to maintain and improve employees’ health, well-being, and effectiveness from stressors, which require employees’ self-regulation. He has vast expertise in applying experience sampling methodology (i.e. daily diary studies) and multilevel research. His research was published in leading journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Wlad has a track record as a PI of several research projects funded by national governments, Industry, and the European Union. These projects focused on developing and evaluating organizational interventions to facilitate employee effectiveness involving leadership training and work design. He is currently leading the Diversity Innovation Support Scheme for SME (DINNOS) project funded by the European Union’s H2020 program.

Laura Erskine is Professor of Health Policy and Management and Director of the MPH Program in Health Policy and Management at UCLA. She is also the Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Healthcare Management. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and her MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. Her teaching interests are in the area of healthcare, organizational behavior, and leadership. Jessica Methot is an associate professor of Human Resource Management in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. Eean R. Crawford is an Associate Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Dr. Crawford is a Henry B. Tippie Research Fellow and serves as the Management & Entrepreneurship Department Director of Graduate Studies. He received his doctorate in management from the University of Florida, and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University. He conducts research on employee engagement, team effectiveness, social networks, leadership and personality. Lance Frazier is an Associate Professor of Management in the Heider College of Business at Creighton University. He earned his doctorate from Oklahoma State University with an emphasis on organizational behavior. His research focuses on proactivity at work, examining the factors that encourage employees to speak up at work and help their colleagues. These factors include trust, psychological safety, and leadership. Sreedhari Desai is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and the Crist W. Blackwell Scholar. in the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina. She received her PhD in organizational behavior from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. She has an MS in finance from the University of Utah, and a BS in metallurgical engineering from the Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh, India.

Sreedhari researches how individuals behave in organizations, with a focus on ethical decision making, fairness and gender diversity. Her work has been published in the Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Previously, she was a research fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University and a fellow at the Women and Public Policy program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, she was a research fellow in the Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation. She is an artist with formal training in the fine arts from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah.

David Wagner is the Doug McKay Research Scholar and Associate Professor of Management at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business. He is a graduate of the Management Department at Michigan State University. Prior to his appointment at the Lundquist College, Wagner was an assistant professor at Singapore Management University where he received multiple awards for his research and teaching. Wagner studies the interface between work and life domains, with an eye toward human sustainability. This work examines mechanisms related to moods and emotions, social interactions, and sleep and fatigue. His research has been published in outlets including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Sleep Research. Findings from this research have made their way into popular outlets including Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (“That’s right, what you lose in sleep, you gain in mortal danger!”), and, much to the delight of his mother, Costco Magazine. Wagner has also contributed directly to policy, testifying before a special commission of the Massachusetts state legislature. In addition to his research and teaching activities, Wagner has served the OB division in numerous capacities, regularly hosting tables at the OB Division Making Connections session, and mentoring doctoral students at various consortia during the AOM annual meeting. Wagner currently serves on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology, and Academy of Management Discoveries, where he is a founding editorial board member.

Dr Raina Brands is an Associate Professor at University College London School of Management. Prior to joining UCL SOM, she was on the faculty at London Business School She received her doctorate from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on social networks – informal relationships that are the heart of organizational life – and how these informal workplace networks can present hidden barriers to diversity and inclusion. A core focus of her research is to understand how social networks shape women’s careers and outcomes, and how to intervene in these processes to create more meritocratic and inclusive organizations. As an executive educator, she has developed targeted training to assist leaders – especially aspiring women and members of racial minority groups – to build more effective networks and overcome stereotyping and bias. Additionally, she teaches executives how to inspire change through relational architecture. Her work has been published in the top international journals in the field of management and psychology. Raina’s work has also garnered international press coverage in the New York Times, The Financial Times, The Guardian, Harvard Business School, The Huffington Post and Glamour Magazine.  She serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, and Administrative Science Quarterly.

Margaret Luciano is an Associate Professor of Management and Organization and BNY Mellon Faculty Fellow at Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business, where she teaches organizational behavior and teams courses. Luciano earned a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Clark University. Her research examines the dynamics and effectiveness of leaders, teams, and complex systems. She is passionate to forge and foster scholar-practitioner partnerships, enabling research that informs and benefits the real-world. This can be seen in her collaborations with organizations (e.g., healthcare systems, Center for Creative Leadership, Group for Organizational Effectiveness) and translation of her academic publications (e.g., Academy of Management Journal) to practitioner outlets (e.g., Harvard Business Review). Luciano has spearheaded PDW programming that fuels researcher-practitioner connections for the OB Division. She has also served our large Division in ways that forge high-quality connections and help new members feel “at home”. She has been a member (since 2015) and chair (since 2020) of the Making Connections Committee—a group of 33 talented citizens who deliver the Division’s flagship PDWs and social events. She co-organized six social events, eight PDWs, and presented in numerous others. She serves on the Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology editorial boards.

Oscar Holmes IV is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, an Associate Professor of Management and the Rutgers University Student Executive (RUSE) Director at Rutgers School of Business-Camden where he teaches executive education, graduate, and undergraduate courses in Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Conflict Management and Negotiation, and Crisis Management.  Additionally, he is the founder of WHConsulting Firm LLC and creator and host of Diversity Matters podcast. His research examines how leaders can maximize productivity and well-being through fostering more inclusive environments and has been published in several top-tier management journals and books. He earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Management from The University of Alabama, M.L.A. from The University of Richmond and a B.S. with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University. Elizabeth (Beth) M. Campbell is a Lawrence Research Fellow and an Associate Professor of Work and Organizations at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management where she teaches management and leadership development. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and her B.A. from the University of Michigan. Poets & Quants recognized Campbell as a top 40 Under 40 Best Business School Professor. Her research focuses on interpersonal interactions in workgroups with particular focus on the hidden consequences that high performers spark for themselves, their peers, and their teams. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. Campbell has focused her OB Division service on building programming that forges high-quality connections, promotes research rigor, and broadens inclusivity in our large Division. Specifically, she co-designed OB Doctoral Consortium (2022), led the Making Connections Committee—a group talented citizens who deliver the Division’s flagship PDWs and social events (2019-2021), served as OB Membership Liaison (2017–2019), chaired the OB Ambassadors group (2017-2019), co-organized and/or presented at 12+ PDWs, including the popular “Productivity Process” workshop (2014-2021). Dr. Cecily Cooper is an Associate Professor of Management at the Miami Herbert Business School.  According to Elsevier BV and Stanford University (doi: 10.17632/btchxktzyw.3), in 2021, Dr. Cooper was ranked in the worldwide top 2% scientists (based on single year 2020) in business & management and social psychology. Her research interests include trust, trust repair, humor, and leadership. This research has been published in many leading Management journals and has received three national conference awards. 

Dr. Cooper is a Guest Associate Editor at Academy of Management Review for a special issue on trust in organizations. In addition, she serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Human Relations, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She has co-authored a textbook, Mastering Organizational Behavior (14th edition), that was published in May 2017. Dr. Cooper also serves in various leadership roles. She is a member of the executive board of FINT (First International Network on Trust) and hosts their quarterly virtual seminar series. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management (Rep-at-Large).

Prior to joining the University of Miami, Dr. Cooper received her B.S. from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida and her Ph.D. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Dr. Cooper has a keen interest in creating close partnerships with organizations when conducting research and focuses on providing value to these organizations. She lives in Miami Beach, Florida with her twin daughters.

Payal N. Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a qualitative researcher who studies power in organizations and teaches courses on power and leadership. Her research to date has examined how leaders are impacted by stress and trauma, as well as dynamics involving empowering leadership and workplace mistreatment. She received her Ph.D. in organizational behavior from the University of Maryland, College Park. She was recently selected by the Women’s Council at UNLV as the 2022 Growth, Inclusivity, Voice and Excellence (GIVE) faculty/staff award recipient for her efforts towards diversity, equity and inclusion. She regularly conducts workshops and trainings on topics including leadership development and stress management, and has been an invited speaker across a range of industries including health care, higher education, hospitality, and information technology.
