The Technology and Media Team is responsible for coordinating all technical needs of the OB division. This includes administration of the OB website, creating podcasts, preparing slideshows for the meetings, and moderating the OB Discussion Board.

Michael D. Johnson is the Boeing Company Endowed Professor of Business Administration in the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Michigan State University in 2006. Michael teaches Organizational Leadership and Leading Organizational Change in Foster’s EMBA and Technology Management MBA programs. He has received numerous teaching and scholarly awards. His research focuses primarily on team effectiveness and emotions at work.

Huan (Harry) Wang is an Assistant Professor of Management at Siena College in Loudonville, NY. Harry received his PhD from Rutgers University, a Masters in Communication from Northeast Normal University (China), and his bachelor's degree in economics from Simon Fraser University. He has received the Best Reviewer award from the OB Division, the Best Symposium award from the Organizational Neuroscience division, and the Best Paper award from the Chinese Behavioral Sciences Association.

Nagaraj Sivasubramaniam is the Associate Proffessor in the areas of leadership, strategy and entrepreneurship (particularly start-up characteristics) in the University of Dequesne. Nagraj is currently engaged in energy systems modeling at the local level, and the definition and measurement of sustainability mindset at the individual level. He is specialist at Leadership development, growth strategies for start-up firms, and leading and facilitating organizational change, energy systems modeling, GHG Emissions Inventory, Sustainability Strategies.

Carys Chan

Carys Chan is the Research Fellow in the Centre for Work, Organisation and Wellbeing (WOW) and an incoming Senior Lecturer in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resources (ERHR) within Griffith University. Carys's conduct research on the work–life interface, flexible/remote working, self-efficacy, work-related stress and burnout, and leader–subordinate interactions. I am also well-versed in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Beyond academia, she was a key resource person (work–life balance) to the Citizens’ Panel On Work–Life Harmony coordinated by the Strategy Group of the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore. Prior to entering academia, she had varied working experiences at KPMG Advisory, VTB Capital, Thomson Reuters, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Singapore), Tailored Accounts, CPA Australia, and the Institute of Policy Studies at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

David Newman is a Ph.D. student in Management and Organization at the University of Southern California. He earned his B.A. in psychology from Yale University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. His research interests include moral foundations theory, business ethics, meaning-making behaviors, personal and organizational identity, and the psychology of technology. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, David worked for EthicalSystems.org, a non-profit collaboration of researchers dedicated to the advancement of a systems approach to better business practices.

His research focus is on large-scale organizational changes; how organizational members experience changes and how perceptions of change unfolds over time. Currently, he is studying strategic change through Enterprise Social Media discussions. He got his first camera when he was five-years-old and he takes photos mostly of buildings, nature and landscapes.

Mike Johnson worked for sixteen years full-time in the non-profit world before going back to graduate school to get his at Michigan State University in 2006. His research focuses on how to enhance collaborative work (especially in groups and teams), social identities, and emotions and moods in the workplace. He is currently an Associate Professor in the of Management and Organization in the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He teaches the core Organizational Behavior classes for both the day-time and evening MBA programs, as well as various executive education courses and a seminar. He serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Applied Psychology, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. He is a member of the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society.

Xiaoshuang Lin is a Lecturer (Assistant professor) in Southampton Business School, researching and teaching in Leadership, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, and Organisational Behaviour. She received PhD in Management from The Australian National University. Her research of leadership in teams, team learning, employee voice, and employee cultural orientation have been published in academic journals, such as The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, and so on. She currently serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for Human Resource Management, Management and Organization Review, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and Personnel Review.

Todd Weber is an Associate Professor of Management/HR at Central Washington University. He received his Ph.d. in Organizational Behavior from UNC-Chapel Hill as well as a BS (Sociology) and Masters (Organizational Behavior) degree from Brigham Young University. He enjoys teaching, with a particular interest in the use of technology to help facilitate educational experiences. His research interests include leadership, values, motivation, and international management. He has published in a variety of academic publications including the Annual Review of Psychology, Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Relations, International Journal of Management, Management and Organization Review, and The International Journal of Human Resource Management, in addition to book chapters in Advances in International Management and Managing the New Workforce.

Effie Savvides Syrimis is currently a PhD Candidate in the field of OB/HRM from the University of Cyprus. She hold a Postgraduate qualification in HRD from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development UK, an MSc in Operations Management from the University of Manchester, and a BSc in Management with a specialization in Marketing from UMIST. Her additional qualifications include accreditation as a trainer from the Human Resource Developing Authority in Cyprus, MBTI practitioner from the Myers Briggs Company, and BPS accreditation for the use of psychometric tests. Her work experience includes being the Head of HR & L&D at Pandora Bakeries & Catering Services. Effie also worked as a consultant in the Supply Chain Management, Sourcing and Procurement division at Accenture UK and held various positions at the Arcadia Group Ltd, including a leadership accelerator program, buying and merchandising, retail operations, and e-commerce.

The tasks as a volunteer for the OB Division's Twitter account include searching for and posting relevant research articles, conveying key messages of the division, and promoting division events and happenings.

Daniya Kamran-Morley is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. She is a mixed-methods researcher, with a focus on how people fall in and out of love or calling with their work. Her research interests include disenchantment, meaningful work, calling, work ideologies, and the sociology of work. She is leading the development of an active online OB community on Discord.

Ryan Musselman

Ryan Musselman is pursuing his PhD in Management in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. His focus is in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources, where he explores the ways individual differences affect the organization. He has research interests broadly in talent management, development, and succession, specifically in generativity, mentoring, leadership, turnover, organizational identification, and star performers. Ryan received his MS in Agribusiness Management (`15), BS in Agricultural Economics (`13); Agricultural Systems Management (`13); Agricultural Education (`13); and AS in Agronomy (`12) from Purdue University. Prior to starting his PhD, Ryan was an Academic Advisor at Purdue for five years and grew up heavily involved in his family’s farm where he learned about business from being an entrepreneur with his brother raising beef cattle, pigs, row-crops, hay, and vegetables. He is helping with websites, interviewing award winners and bringing recognition to members of OB division.
