Wisdom Studio series' fourth episode, "Creating Aesthetic Expressions", focuses on how people can skillfully express their righteous anger when they face injustice, incivility, discrimination, and exclusion in their daily work relationships. This episode continues featuring Professor Robin Fisher from the School of Music, who analyzes the commonalities between L.W. Beethoven's 5th Symphony and Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech with regards to anger expressions.
In an interdisciplinary conversation, the program co-hosts Ms. Elisabeth Nunziato and Professor Hakan Ozcelik draw on this analysis to provide insights about how utilizing musical elements in anger expressions can enhance organizational members' influence in their organization.
The "Work Life Wisdom" series, produced with support from the Provost's Office at Sacramento State, intends to serve as a psychological resource for employees, students, and larger society in their efforts to enhance their health, happiness, and performance.
