    Dr. Enrica Ruggs is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Houston to collaborate on research examining strategies to increase psychological safety at work, particularly for racial minority women. This study is part of an NSF-funded project that is being conducted in collaboration with P.I.s from the University of Memphis (Drs. Kristen Jones, Alex Lindsay, Jessica Kirk) and University of San Diego (Dr. Devalina Nag). The position will support a combination of collaborative research with the NSF project team, as well as the candidate's own research program. There will also be opportunities to collaborate on other DEI-related research projects with faculty and graduate students at the University of Houston and University of Memphis.

    The position will be held in the Department of Management & Leadership in the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. The Department of Management & Leadership has successfully attracted excellent researchers and doctoral students who engage in research in a wide array of areas. There is particular strength in scholarship related to workplace DEI and opportunities to engage with local organizations through the Inclusive Leadership Institute.     Applicants should have a Ph.D. in management, organizational behavior, industrial-organizational psychology, social psychology or closely related field by the start date of the position (the start date is flexible). The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting research using both qualitative and quantitative methods and analyses.
