    Dear Colleagues, Greetings!

I trust this email finds you in fine fettle.

You are cordially invited to contribute to The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Leadership and Change.

This project aspires to be the most up-to-date and comprehensive survey of the twin fields of leadership and change.  It is conceived as a multi volume, multi author work that will span into several volumes over the next 2-3 years and will involve dual-length entries as follows: short entries/articles may range from 500/1,000 to 3,000 words; and longer ('keystone") articles may range from 5,000 to 10,000 words.

    Encyclopedias typically comprise:

    • Tertiary literature - digested and accepted knowledge in an easily accessible self-contained format. Encyclopedias provide a comprehensive overview of the field. Chapters are written especially for the encyclopedia and are NEW (i.e., an encyclopedia shouldn't contain previously published material).

    • Not introductory – chapters should assume a certain level of knowledge of a particular subject area. Aimed at post-graduate level and upwards although undergraduates may find a useful reference tool.

    • 500/1,000 to 5000/10,000 words per entry/chapter.

    • Entries are organized in one continuous A-Z format.

    • No index, no table of contents.

Having served as an editor-in-chief for 7 Handbooks on the themes of workplace spirituality, sustainability, mindfulness, workplace wellbeing, leadership, and change, I have had the blessed privilege of working with hundreds of scholars and practitioners from across the world in the field of leadership and organizational change who are also being invited to contribute to this august venture.

From your area of expertise, leadership and/or change management, you may choose your level of engagement: 500-1,000 (basic entry) words to 5,000 words (topical/anchor entries) to 10,000 words (keystone/benchmark articles).

There is also a limited opportunity to be the section editor (there will be at least 25-35 section/sub-section editors) if you commit to bring 20 contributions from your circle of influence/contacts.

If this interests you, please respond by indicating the title of your entry/article by January 5, 2024, to: satinder.dhiman@woodbury.edu

When you reply, please mention in the subject line "Encyclopedia." Apologies for cross-posting.

In India, such works are considered a yajña (an offering to the Divine), involving the labor of love of many for the good of many.

Thank you for your noble gift of caring so very sincerely about what really matters the most-developing future thought-leaders, good-finders, and positive change-catalysts.

With folded hands and a deep bow,

    satinder dhiman
