Preparing for the OB job market
A division-wide workshop that supports the socialization of doctoral students and builds knowledge about the academic job market, with more than 30 faculty from around the world.
This session was held on Friday, June 12, 2026, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm ET.
This workshop supports the socialization of doctoral students and builds knowledge about the academic job market. Featuring more than 30 faculty from around the world, the first half offers tips and best practices from professors who have served on multiple hiring committees, and the second half features reflections and advice from professors who have recently navigated the market themselves.
The session was hosted by the OB Division's doctoral programming representatives on behalf of the Executive Committee.
