China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Organisational Behaviour or Human Resource Management. Ideal candidates hold a PhD from a highly regarded international doctoral programme in a field related to Organisational Behaviour or Human Resource Management, with a demonstrated capacity for high-quality research and a clear potential to publish in top-tier journals (e.g., FT50 journals), consistent with the standards of leading business schools. Newly appointed Assistant Professors benefit from a significantly reduced teaching load to support the development of a strong research pipeline. Promotion is based on sustained, high-quality research and growing teaching effectiveness.
Faculty compensation is internationally competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to an attractive base salary, CEIBS provides a generous housing allowance, an international school education allowance for children, international private medical insurance, and a private pension plan, along with generous research funding and further teaching load reductions or bonuses for high-calibre scholarly publications. About the Department
The Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management Department includes faculty with diverse disciplinary backgrounds in management, psychology, and industrial relations, with a shared passion for studying important business phenomena using an interdisciplinary perspective and a range of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Faculty research spans a wide range of topics such as leadership, creativity and innovation, human-AI collaboration, organisational trust and ethics, strategic human resource management, and cross-cultural management, among many others. Our faculty include editors and editorial board members at major academic journals and officers in various professional associations. In January 2026, five of our colleagues were named among Elsevier's Highly Cited Researchers in China. Our faculty also publish regularly in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Personnel Psychology.
