Full-Time Research Technician Posting at the University of Michigan
Ross Behavioral Lab
The Michigan Ross Behavioral Lab at the University of Michigan is
seeking a full-time research technician to start in August 2018. The
deadline to apply is June 4. The Michigan Ross Behavioral Lab
accommodates a variety of innovative human behavior experiments in
areas such as marketing and decision science, strategy, teamwork, and
leadership.
This position is ideal for a recent college graduate in psychology,
business, information, or other related disciplines. Applicants should
have at least 1 year of experience running studies with human
subjects. We desire experience with eye-tracking, survey design,
coding experience with python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Applicants must be
self-motivated, have internal initiative, and have a positive learning
orientation.
The main duty of the research technician will be to administer
experiments and surveys for Ross researchers under supervision of the
lab manager and lab director. The technician will work with faculty
and researchers to run high quality lab studies. Other duties include
participant recruitment, participant intake and debriefing, data
entry, data analysis, keeping the lab organized, and other tasks to
keep the lab running smoothly.
