    The Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE) at NC State University's Poole College of Management announces a full-time Lecturer position opening in Management/Human Resource Management.  The position is a 9-month appointment with an anticipated start date of August 2018.  Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced MIE undergraduate management, human resources management, and business policy and strategy courses. Other responsibilities include participating in departmental and college service activities.

    Applicants must have a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Business Management/Human Resource Management and/or minimum 10 years of experience in management practice or human resources management. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of business processes, management and human resource management, and strategic management. A successful candidate should have significant experience in human resource management positions in private or public organizations, showing increased management or human resource management areas over time.  Prior university teaching experience preferred, but not required.

    The Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE) at NC State University's Poole College of Management has faculty with research programs in entrepreneurship, strategy, management of technology and innovation, organization leadership, and human resources. The MIE department and other department in the Poole College of Management house several distinguished academic centers, including The Entrepreneurship Collaborative (TEC), Center for Innovation Management Studies (CIMS), Supply Chain Research Consortium, and the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative.

    North Carolina State University is located in Raleigh, NC, within minutes of the technology-rich companies of the Research Triangle Park region and also near Duke University and UNC at Chapel Hill. With some 34,000 students and over 200 degree programs at the bachelor's, master's, professional, and doctoral levels, NC State is a major research university with traditional strengths in science and technology research.
