CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Full-time, non-tenure track position available in the Department of Management at the clinical assistant professor rank. The successful candidate will teach online and face-to-face courses in Human Resource Management at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. The position will begin in January 2018 and will be located in Wichita, Kansas.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has teaching, research, and service responsibilities. The teaching load for this positon is 3 classes (9 credits) in the Fall semester and 3 classes in the Spring semester. The research responsibilities include engaging in research that leads to journal publications and other scholarly output. The service responsibilities include serving on faculty committees and other committees; and participating in other appropriate service and professional activities
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited college of business in the field of Human Resource Management or a closely related area. Applicants at an advanced stage of their doctoral studies (ABD) will be considered with demonstrated capability of completing degree requirements before the effective date of appointment.
SALARY: $90,000 for a nine-month position (mid-August to mid-May). Summer research and teaching support may be available on a competitive basis.
EVALUATION AND PROMOTION: Appointment is for three years, subject to satisfactory annual review of performance in all areas of responsibility. Extension of the appointment for an additional 3-year term will be based on a comprehensive review at the end of each 3-year term. The position is eligible for promotion to the clinical associate professor and clinical professor ranks.
