Dear Colleague,
This email is a friendly reminder that we are 6 days away from the submission deadline for the 2018 Southern Management Association Annual Meeting. The SMA meeting will take place November 6 - 10, 2018, in Lexington, Kentucky (https://www.visitlex.com) at the Hilton Lexington/Downtown-a location that promises plenty of opportunities for knowledge exchange, development, networking, and the many fun activities for which SMA is known.
| Enjoy browsing visitLEX.com. We showcase the premier places to eat, shop, play, stay and experience the time-honored traditions of Lexington...Kentucky's centerpiece. |
We need you to submit your manuscripts, symposia, and PDI. We also need you to volunteer to review. The quality of our program is dependent on your active engagement! The deadline for submissions is April 23, 2018. We've made several minor changes to the submission process and have added additional details about the Innovative Teaching and PDI tracks.

| c.ymcdn.com CALL FOR PAPERS AND AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS - SMA 2018 MEETING November 6 - 10, 2018 – Lexington, KY, Lexington Hilton Submission Deadline: Monday April 23, 2018 11:59 pm EST |
To submit your work and volunteer to review, please go directly to the conference portal: https://www.xcdsystem.com/sma/abstract/index.cfm.
If you submitted or reviewed last year, you already have a profile created in the system, and last year's username and ID can be used to login this year. If any of your information has changed, please update it at this time-even if you are not submitting. If you did not create a profile last year, we have PDF documents to guide you through the account creation (http://bit.ly/2mfo2d6), reviewer signup (http://bit.ly/2mygYcD), and paper/proposal submission processes (http://bit.ly/2ljD0Qa). Please note that the screenshots in the guides show a 2017 date and some other minor differences, but the process illustrated works for this year as well.
As we hope to limit each reviewer to no more than three papers total, we'll need a large reviewer pool. Please note that if you are a submitting author, you will also be expected to serve as a reviewer. Doing so is one small way to repay the generosity of the volunteers who will review your work. Plus, SMA recognizes our best reviewers with a number of awards!
We look forward to seeing you in SMA's 2018 "Winner's Circle" in Lexington, Kentucky!
Sincerely,
Tina Thompson
