*** Apologies for Cross-Postings ***
Greetings,
We would like to invite you to submit a paper, symposium, and/or a Professional Development Institute (PDI) proposal for consideration as part of the Southern Management Association's 2018 Annual Meeting.
This year's meeting will take place in Lexington, Kentucky-home of fine bourbon, great basketball, fast horses, and for a few days in November, the best management conference the south has to offer. The meeting will be held November 6 – 10, 2018, at the Hilton Lexington/Downtown.
How Can You Be Involved?
We need you to submit your manuscripts, symposia, and PDI. We also need you to volunteer to review. The quality of our program is directly dependent on your active engagement! The deadline for submissions is April 23, 2018. We've made several minor changes to the submission process and have added additional details about the Innovative Teaching and PDI tracks. So please review the 2018 SMA Call for Papers at:

To learn more about conference participation, submitting a manuscript, and volunteering to review; to engage in other conference services; or to view the proceedings from the 2017 SMA Annual Meeting, please visit our website at: www.southernmanagement.org.
The direct link to submit papers and proposals, and to volunteer to review is: https://www.xcdsystem.com/sma/abstract/index.cfm.
If you submitted or reviewed last year, you already have a profile created in the system, and last year's username and ID can be used to log into the 2018 conference portal. If any of your information has changed, please update it at this time-even if you are not submitting. If you did not create a profile last year, you will need to do so now. PDF documents, available at the following links, will guide you through account creation (http://bit.ly/2mfo2d6), reviewer signup (http://bit.ly/2mygYcD), and paper/proposal submission processes (http://bit.ly/2ljD0Qa). Please note that the screenshots in the guides show a 2017 date and some other minor differences, but the process illustrated works for this year as well.
As we hope to limit each reviewer to no more than three papers total, we'll need a large reviewer pool. Please note that if you are a submitting author, you will also be expected to serve as a reviewer. Doing so is one small way to repay the generosity of the volunteers who will review your work. Plus, SMA recognizes our best reviewers with a number of awards that look great on CVs!
