    Dear all,

As announced earlier, we are currently organizing a special issue for Project Management Journal that focuses on careers of project managers. In this special issue, we would like to bring together the communities and literatures of careers, OB, and project management. Please see the attached file for the full call for papers (if the attachment is blocked for some reason, please see https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/public/pdf/learning/pmj/career-paths-systems.pdf?la=en).

As part of the special issue process, we are hosting a special workshop at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam on March 22nd and 23rd 2018 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This workshop will primarily serve to help interested scholars further improve their work-in-progress and to work towards submitting a paper for the special issue. All guest editors of the special issue will be present for the workshop and available to help out. Thus, the workshop will consist of both presentations and hands-on feedback and improvement of your work by peers and the guest editors. Although the workshop is primarily dedicated to help work towards submission for the special issue, interested scholars not planning to submit for the special issue are also very welcome during the workshop.

If you are interested, please write down March 22nd and March 23rd in your schedules! More details about registration and submission of papers will be communicated shortly. We hope to welcome many of you during the workshop!

Best wishes, also on behalf of the other guest editors,
    Jos

PS. Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is only 10 minutes removed from Schiphol Airport, so it is very easy to reach. Also, the city center is only a 10-minute metro ride away, so we are located at a convenient location both from a traveling perspective and from a sightseeing perspective!
