The Klein et al. (2014) Unidimensional Target neutral (K.U.T) measure of commitment has been translated/adapted into several languages and a website has been set up to make these versions of the scale easy to find. This measure can be used to assess commitment to any target (e.g., organization, person, team, goal, decision, project, change effort, strategy, values, etc.), is in the public domain, and is available at http://u.osu.edu/commitmentmeasure in English, Arabic, Czech, French, German, Hebrew, Portuguese, Thai, and Turkish. Translations are underway and will be added soon in Dutch, Mandarin, Japanese, and Spanish.

Please let me know (klein.12@osu.edu) if ...

    • you have any questions about the use of this measure.
    • you would like to submit a validated translation of the measure in an additional language.
    • you have used, or plan to use, this measure and would be interested in contributing your data for secondary analysis as part of large scale measurement equivalence studies.

The first of these studies is cross-cultural with a focus on organizational commitment. The other study will be across targets where we are seeking US samples in English assessing commitment to any target(s).

Thank you in advance for your assistance!  Regards, -Howard
