The Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business at North Dakota State
University (NDSU) invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant
Professor level to begin in August 2018. We will consider qualified applicants in the area of
Management with the primary research and teaching interest in Organizational Behavior. The
first-year teaching load is 2-2 (four three-credit courses with one or two preparations), and
thereafter the normal teaching load is 2-3 (five three-credit courses per year with no more than
three preparations). The position is also expected to conduct and publish quality research, and
provide service to the university and business community. The position offers a competitive salary
and benefit package.
The Department of Management and Marketing currently has 18 faculty members and offers
majors in Management, Marketing, and Business Administration as well as minor in Business
Administration for non-business students. The MBA program is also housed in the department.
The College of Business at NDSU is fully accredited by AACSB, and is located in the Richard H.
Barry Hall, the new 135,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility. The College of Business offers
a variety of undergraduate programs as well as graduate programs including MBA, Master of
Accountancy, Master of Managerial Logistics, and PhD in Transportation and Logistics.
