Just a reminder that the deadline for submitting proposals for the 2019 Journal of Organizational Behavior Annual Review issue is the 15th of November at midnight, London time (i.e., Greenwich Mean Time). Please note that we now accept proposals throughout the year but submissions received by this deadline will, if ultimately accepted, be guaranteed placement in the 2019 issue. Submissions after this date may be held until a later issue as space allows. We therefore recommend submitting your proposal by the 15 Nov. deadline to maximize the timeliness and impact of your review, if accepted for publication.
The call for proposals is attached. Based on inquiries we have received since the call was initially circulated in August, we have attempted to clarify two aspects of the submission criteria:
- Although theory building, hypothesis development/testing and the addition of new data are not permitted in Annual Review articles, meta-analyses are accepted and encouraged. Meta-analytic results are derived from previously published results and therefore do not violate the "no new data" criteria.
- The 10-page limit for proposals does not include the cover page, tables or figures. References are counted toward the page limit but may be single-spaced and, at the proposal stage, should be limited only to key references (rather than an exhaustive list of publications you plan to review).
We look forward to receiving your submissions!
