Assistant Professor of Management with a focus on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management
The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina Charlotte invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the advanced assistant professor level in the area of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. The primary teaching area will be Organizational Behavior at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including MBA, doctoral, and executive programs. Ability and willingness to teach international management and/or management strategy as a secondary teaching area is preferred. The teaching load may include face-to-face, hybrid and/or online deliveries. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department, college, university, and profession in service and leadership.
Required qualifications include: (1) a Ph.D. in Management or a related field, (2) a demonstrated ability to publish research in premier management journals, and (3) a demonstrated ability to effectively teach undergraduate, masters, doctoral and executive education courses in the aforementioned areas. Teaching load and salary are competitive. The proposed start date is August 2018. The position is contingent on final budgetary approval. All applications will be considered strictly confidential.
