REGISTRATION: Register for both SPSP and this preconference to receive a $25 discount. Last year, we had over 120 registrants across the Psychology of Technology and Media Psychology preconferences. This year, the combined conference is capped at 60 attendees, so we encourage you to register soon.
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Emerging scholars (graduate students, post docs, and those within 5 years of receiving their Ph.D.) are encouraged to submit an abstract not to exceed 250 words for consideration as a poster or a data-blitz talk not to exceed 4 minutes. Submissions should be emailed to Kostadin Kushlev (kushlevk@gmail.com) and must be submitted by November 15th, 2017. In your submission, please include the following:
1. Title of your talk/poster
2. Names of all authors.
3. Contact information & current title/position of the presenting author.
4. Abstract of no more than 250 words.
5. Type of submission: poster or data blitz talk; if you are submitting a data-blitz talk, specify whether you are willing to present your submission in the form of a poster.
6. Specify whether you have limited funding for conference travel.
All presenters will be considered for one of two complementary conference registrations. Awardees will be selected based on the quality of their submissions, but priority will be given to applicants with limited funding.
