Assistant Professor of I/O Psychology Position: University of Nebraska at Omaha 

The Psychology Department at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in I/O Psychology starting August 2018.  The University and department have a strong commitment to achieving diversity among the faculty and staff. Applications must have earned a doctorate (or anticipated prior to the start date) in I/O Psychology or related field, show evidence of and potential for scholarly productivity, as well as graduate and undergraduate teaching.  Additionally, applied or research experience in healthcare contexts or an interest therein, along with a research stream that includes groups and teams research, is preferred. The successful candidate will teach graduate level I/O psychology courses (e.g. training, job analysis, performance appraisal, and psychometrics) with additional responsibility for teaching undergraduate courses (depending on department needs); maintain a productive record of research and scholarship in area(s) of specialization; advise graduate and undergraduate students in research, course selection, and career preparation; and participate in service at the local, state, and national levels. The I/O program emphasizes a scientist-practitioner model and is committed to training outstanding scientists-practitioners.
