    FULL PROFESSOR

    IN ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR/ENTREPRENEURSHIP

     

    The Nanyang Business School (NBS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites applications for Full Professor in the areas of Organizational Behavior and/or Entrepreneurship with the Division of Strategy, Management and Organization.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Applicants must demonstrate outstanding achievements in research and innovation and teaching, and in particular, the leadership impact of these scholastic achievements. They must also have made substantial contributions to their profession and the community and have international visibility.

     

    RENUMERATION

    Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary commensurate with their qualifications and experience.

     

    Division of Strategy, Management & Organization (SMO)

    We are a community of more than 40 international scholars from 15 different countries with PhDs from research-intensive universities, including Duke University, Michigan State University, Ohio State University, Stanford University, Texas A&M University, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, University of Cambridge, University of Maryland, University of Minnesota, University of North Carolina, University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, University of Texas at Austin, and University of Washington.

     

    Some of our distinctive research areas in OB / HR include culture science, cultural intelligence, global leadership, teams, global talent management, cognitive neuroscience, decision making, and corporate governance. Our research is published in top international OB and HR journals.

     

    We run three unique research centers in the world:

     

    The Center for Leadership and Cultural Intelligence (CLCI)  leads in generating knowledge, assessments and programs for developing culturally intelligent individuals, teams, and organizations.

     

    The Culture Science Institute (CSI) investigates cultural issues of national and global importance holistically, from brain-based, cognitive, behavioral, evolutionary, and life science perspectives.

     

    The Asian Business Case Center (ABCC) houses more than 150 business cases. It specialises in teaching and researching Asian management and business using the case method.

    The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne (HEC Lausanne, www.hec.unil.ch), Switzerland, invites applications for a position Full, Associate or Assistant Professor (Tenure track) in negotiation, communication, persuasion, bargaining, or social interactions.

    Starting date is: August 1st, 2018 or on a mutually agreed date.

    The new professor will be a member of the Department of Organizational Behavior of HEC Lausanne. The OB Department provides a stimulating, interdisciplinary research environment. The members of the department have backgrounds in various disciplines including social, cognitive and industrial-organizational psychology, management and behavioral economics. We publish in top-tier journals in different areas.

    The Faculty of Business and Economics offers an excellent infrastructure for research including support staff, individual research budgets, internal funding opportunities, conference and research support, and several fully equipped laboratories for behavioral research (e.g., group experiments, cognitive experiments, EEG, virtual reality).

    Applicants must hold a PhD in Management, Economics, Psychology, or a related discipline and have proven ability to publish in leading international journals of their field and to have requisite teaching experience at university level. The department is looking for applicants with a strong focus on empirical, behavioral research in negotiation, communication, persuasion, bargaining, social interactions or in related fields. Importantly, applicants will have to teach courses in negotiation. Applicants are expected to be able to teach in French after six years.
