  • 1.  Ask for your suggestion for in-class exercise on team decision making or leadership for Chinese EMBA course

Hay colleagues in the OB community,

This is Amy Ou from National University of Singapore. I am looking for your suggestion for two in-class exercises!

I am going to teach a group of Chinese executives about teamwork and leadership. What would you suggest for

    1)      A team decision making exercise (ideally showing their teamwork problems or biases) and

    2)      A leadership exercise

I will send out a summary after hearing from you. Thank you~~~~~

    Best regards,

    Amy

    Hi Amy,

For decision-making exercise, I suggest PB Technologies from Kellog series. It fits very well with discussion of information processing and decision making in teams.

    Best,
    Serena

    Hello Amy,

There are great team resources available at negotiationandteamresources.com.

This is a non-profit started by the founder of the DRRC to support teaching in negotiation and teams.  Hi highly recommend the Geben Robotics exercise of Best Stuff on Earth which has been used by many educators around the world.

    Best regards,

    Holly
