The European Association of Work & Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) announces the organization of the 6th EAWOP Early Career Summer School 2018
EAWOP Early Career Summer School for Advanced Work and Organizational Psychology presents the unique opportunity for young researchers with a diversity of interests in W/O psychology to meet with fellow researchers and prominent professors and discuss their own work as well as aspects of being a researcher.
The 6th EAWOP summer school will take place in Crete, Greece from the 2nd to 6th of June 2018. A group of selective young scholars with research interests in W/O psychology and with a desire to pursue a career within this field, will attend and participate in a series of activities, including Keynotes, Speed Networking & Interactive Poster Sessions, Research Methods Workshops, and Social Activities (Information Leaflet).
Participants in the summer school will benefit from the interaction and presentations of senior scholars with research interests in W/O psychology, including Frederik Anseel (EAWOP President), Gilad Chen (Editor, Journal of Applied Psychology), Jose Cortina (SIOP, Past President), Guido Hertel (Group & Organization Management, Associate Editor), Edwin A. J. van Hooft (Editorial Board Member, Personnel Psychology) and Despoina Xanthopoulou (Associate Editor, European Journal of Work & Organizational Psychology) (Full CVs).
In order to take part in the summer school, participants must either be close to finishing their Ph.D. (in their final year) or must recently have completed their Ph.D. (in the first five years after their Ph.D. completion). Applications are now open (deadline December 22, 2017).
The fee is 380? for EAWOP members, which covers summer school participation, accommodation in double rooms and excursions/dinners including a full-board (all-inclusive) stay in Creta Maris Beach Resort, Heraklion, Crete. The fee must be paid by February 28, 2018. Non-EAWOP members can sign up for a discounted one year membership (May 2018 to May 2019, 50?) via the EAWOP office.
