The Department of Management in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business & Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Human Resource Management beginning Fall 2018. The hired faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses with a 2/2 teaching load. Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in top journals.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in management or a related area from an AACSB accredited program by the start of the Fall 2018 semester. The preferred specialty is Human Resources Management. A secondary specialty in Organizational Behavior would be desirable. Applicants must provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong research ability. Teaching load is contingent upon meeting doctoral faculty research outcome criteria established by the College.
