    Good morning!

I am in the process of developing an online, asynchronous undergraduate course in Organizational Behavior. If you have any resources, articles, exercises, and/or technologies that worked especially well in the online format, I would greatly appreciate you sharing them.

Thank you so much in advance for any insights you can offer!

    Kindly,

    Rachel Frieder

    Hi Rachel,

My colleagues and I recently published an article in MTR (Management Teaching Review) that might be helpful to you. There is an Appendix with several free tools that would work for creating a virtual team project and a couple of sample virtual team projects. The tools can probably be incorporated into other parts of your online course too.

    Here's the link:

    We hope this helps.

    Hi Rachel,

I'm teaching a hybrid version of OB this fall - half in-person and half via internet.

Students will be doing the exercises in the Awesome Employee Playbook as a way of deepening their understanding of OB concepts and applying them to themselves so that, ultimately, they can become great employees. This very practical book has 25 exercises that people can do on their own; each of which relates to OB topics such as perception, personality, communication, conflict, motivation, teams, stress, etc. It's been priced as low as possible to make it inexpensive for students.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

    All the best,
    Celeste Grimard (formerly Brotheridge)
    Professor, ESG UQAM
