    Dear Colleagues,

My colleagues (Donald Truxillo, Dave Cadiz, Jenn Rineer, David Caughlin, and Todd Bodner) and are preparing a meta-analysis for publication, and we are now at the stage of looking for unpublished work.   We are seeking unpublished studies on the construct of work ability, its antecedents, and outcomes.

Specifically, we are seeking any unpublished studies that contain 1) a measure of work ability, and 2) any relevant antecedent or outcome variable (e.g., demographic information, personality traits, job characteristics, working conditions, personal health, job attitudes, job performance, retirement, and disability).

We are particularly interested in studies that have utilized the Work Ability Index and short forms of it (e.g., the single item work ability score).

If you have any unpublished data on work ability that you are willing to share with us, please email Grant Brady, Department of Psychology, Portland State University (Brady5@pdx.edu). For inclusion in this project we also request available information on the sample characteristics, scale characteristics (including the number of items and scale reliability), and the correlation coefficients between work ability and the antecedents and outcomes in your study.

Thank you for considering our request. We greatly appreciate it!

    Best,

    Grant Brady
