    Short description:
There has been a growing interest in diversity literature in examining the role of the diversity faultlines, or hypothetical dividing lines that separate a team into two or more subgroups based on multiple member attributes. Such team phenomena are likely to not only influence team processes and outcomes, but also affect individual experiences of being a part of the team. Our symposium brings together five papers that examine the effects of demographic and non-demographic diversity faultlines on team processes and individual experiences in teams. This collection of papers contributes to research on diversity faultlines, subgroups, and has important implications for theory and practice on how to enable teams to benefit from their members' diversity despite strong diversity faultlines. Additionally, the symposium also contributes to research on collective identification, status, information sharing, and voice behavior.

This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded scholars and practitioners, so please add our symposium to your schedule!
