    Sabanci University would like to invite applications for two full-time positions for its Organizations and Strategy group for the 2018-2019 academic year. One of the full-time positions will be open for candidates in Organizational Behavior, and the other will be open for candidates in Strategic Management and Organization Theory.
     
    Sabanci University, a private, innovative academic institution, offers excellent facilities within a modern campus located in suburban Istanbul. The University has a strong emphasis on world-class research and was recently ranked at among the top 10 best small universities in the world and at #52 among the universities younger than 50 by Times Higher Education, and also at top 500 in the world and among the 50 best universities under 50 years old by QS World University rankings. The School of Management is accredited by the AACSB and ranked among the top 100 Business Schools in the Financial Times European Business School rankings in 2014. Our faculty members are drawn from leading universities in the United States, Canada and Europe. The School offers undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Finance and Business Analytics degrees. It also has a Ph.D. program in Management with specialization options in Organizations and Strategy, Operations Management, and Finance. English is the medium of instruction in all programs. The School holds strategic international collaborations with Columbia University and runs several centers including Corporate Governance Forum and Entrepreneurship Center.
     
    The Organization and Strategy group within the School has a strong research orientation with a solid publication record in major academic journals such as Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Studies, Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of Applied Psychology.     The teaching load and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.  Faculty also receives annual research budgets, as well as outstanding computer, administrative, and library support.

          Requirements
    Candidates should have an existing track record of publishing in top-tier journals or a clear demonstration of the ability to do so. Candidates who have a strong background in research methods and a desire to work with doctoral students are preferred. We are particularly interested in individuals who are strong organizational citizens and who are interested in being an active member of a rich academic community.

    For the OB candidate, although research in any OB area is welcome, additional expertise in Human Resource Management, Negotiations or Leadership will be considered favorably. Hired faculty will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Behavior, Leadership and/or Human Resource Management. For the Strategic Management candidate, any research area within Strategy is welcome and additional expertise in Organization Theory, International Business, or Entrepreneurship will be considered favorably. Hired faculty will be expected to teach courses in Strategy.
