New to OB? Navigating the OB Division and AOM
(Session #34)
Academy of Management (Atlanta, GA)
Friday, August 4th, 2017 (8am-10am)
If you're relatively new to AOM or have joined the Organizational Behavior (OB) division within the last three years and have ever wondered what the OB division is all about, how to make meaningful social and professional connections, set yourself up for career success in OB, and successfully navigate AOM, then this is the forum for you!
The "Essentials of the OB Division" professional development workshop (PDW) was created with you in mind and to answer your questions about the "essentials" of the AOM conference, the OB division, and the field of OB. We designed this forum to enable you to meet and interact with leading scholars in OB and other new members of the division.
The session will be held on Friday, August 4th from 8:00– 10:00AM at the downtown Hilton Atlanta, Room 302 as part of the Academy's PDW series.
This PDW will include a welcome and overview of the OB Division and provide participants with an opportunity to engage in a Q&A discussion with a panel of top OB scholars. This year's esteemed panelists include Emily Bianchi (Emory University), Jason Colquitt (University of Georgia), Lyndon Garrett (University of Michigan), Kerry Gibson (Babson College) and Gillian Ku (London Business School).
Please note that PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED for this workshop. To register online, please visit https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg. When prompted, enter in the registration code: PDW9ONJ9. The deadline to register online is August 04, 2017, so don't delay - sign up today to be a part of this exciting PDW.
We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta!
