| Hello, OB Division members!
It's that time of year when many of us start preparing for the annual AOM conference. For those doctoral students who have worked hard to advance to the final stages of their program and ready themselves to secure a job, it's both an exciting and anxiety-provoking time. Once again this year, we'd like to help facilitate the search process for our student members by introducing to you the doctoral students from the Gender and Diversity in Organizations (GDO) division who are on the job market.
Below, we have included (in alphabetical order) a brief bio that gives you a glimpse into the research and accomplishments of 33 students. Each profile includes a brief biography, photograph, and contact information so that you can reach out to any of the candidates to learn more about them. You can also view the newsletter on our website. Just so you know, we will be providing each of them with ribbons that they can attach to their conference badges that say, "I'm on the job market!" so that you can easily spot them at the conference and get to know them. We are also encouraging each of them to attend the GDO Social on Monday, August 7th, from 8:00-10:30 pm (@ Hyatt Regency Atlanta: International Ballroom North), and we encourage you to do the same, especially if your department is hiring this year! But even if you aren't hiring, we hope that this initiative helps to increase and strengthen ties within the AOM community and promote an inclusive experience for our doctoral students.
To the students on the job market: On behalf of the GDO community, I'd like to congratulate you on your achievements, and wish you all the very best in your job search! Lisa H. Nishii Past Division Chair, GDO |
