    Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior

    RUCKS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT

    LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY

     

    LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY'S Rucks Department of Management invites applications for a tenure-track position in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior at the Assistant Professor level, beginning fall 2018. A Ph.D. in Management or a related area is required. The department seeks applicants with a potential for excellence in research and teaching. Primary duties include: engage in academic research and publishing, teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in human resource management and/or organizational behavior (normal teaching load is two courses per semester, i.e., four courses per academic year), and undertake assignments normally associated with scholarship, teaching, and university service.

     

    Located in Louisiana's capital city, LSU is the flagship university in the Louisiana State University System. The Rucks Department of Management and the E. J. Ourso College of Business provide financial support for academic research and teaching and a collegial work environment. The E. J. Ourso College of Business offers undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs of study, emphasizes high-quality research and teaching, and maintains strong ties with the local business community. Baton Rouge provides numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents. Moreover, Baton Rouge is located approximately 70 miles north of New Orleans, providing easy access to the Crescent City's unique flare.
