    SHORT DESCRIPTION

    Assistant Professor of Management

    Lundquist College of Business

    University of Oregon

     

    The Department of Management in the Lundquist College of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track position in organizational behavior, effective September 2018.  The successful applicant will possess the scholarly ability and drive to conduct and publish research in premier management journals and the ability to teach with rigor and effectiveness. Teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate courses in introductory management plus electives consistent with the candidate's background and interests and department teaching needs. 
    Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their materials before the AOM meetings. 

     

    Assistant level: Completed or nearly completed Ph.D. degree in organizational behavior, human resources, or a related field with demonstrated potential for research and teaching excellence. Experienced Assistant level: Ph.D. degree in organizational behavior, human resources, or a related field; demonstrated superior teaching competence and a record of scholarly accomplishment consistent with rank that includes publication in leading academic management journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Science, and Personnel Psychology. Requires background in organizational behavior, human resources or a related discipline. Commitment to diversity and have the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to research in organizational behavior that leads to publication in top journals.
