The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management of Pepperdine University seeks a tenure-track (open rank) faculty member in Applied Behavioral Science effective August 1, 2018. The School offers several master's degree programs and one bachelor's degree program in Southern California - the main campus in Malibu, and at campuses in Encino, Orange County, West Los Angeles and Westlake Village.
We seek candidates who are skilled in facilitation of experiential learning and team-building, and who bring a personal commitment to enhancing personal and professional growth for themselves and others. The ability to create a supportive and positive classroom environment for students is required. We seek faculty who enjoy collaboration within and across disciplines and place a high value on collegial relationships. We are especially interested in candidates who conduct applied research that has practical applications for industry and business professionals.
Successful candidates will have a terminal degree in Organizational Behavior or related field such as Human Resources, and will have demonstrated strong scholarly and research capabilities with an active research agenda, strong experiential teaching ability, and significant business or managerial experience. Candidates are expected to demonstrate competency in fulfilling their professorial responsibilities within a culturally diverse environment, among faculty, staff, and students. The position ranking is an assistant professor or associate professor; rank, salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
