Hilton Atlanta Room 217, Atlanta, Georgia, United States
We are currently accepting applications for the International Student Consortium. It is proudly hosted by the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management. If you are an international student with English as your second language, this consortium is designed for you.
Overview
The aim of this workshop is to provide you with insights about how to ease the completion of your doctoral program in an unfamiliar environment. The challenges faced by international students may include language barriers, cultural differences, and new ways of learning and thinking. Our speakers are a group of distinguished senior and junior international faculties. They are going to share their experiences to help you develop the knowledge and skills that are required to adapt to your program and become a strong researcher in a more effective way. It is also a great opportunity for you to develop connections with others and become more engaged in the Academy of Management.
