We are seeking to recruit a research assistant for a project funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche, France. The project investigates the effects of proactive behavior at work on individuals' well-being. It is led by Karoline Strauss at ESSEC. 

ESSEC is one of the leading business schools in France, featuring at the top of numerous national and international rankings. Its founding values focus on humanism, openness, and responsibility. At its three campuses in Cergy, La Defense, and Singapore, ESSEC has around 4,400 full-time students from 90 different countries.  

The research assistant will be responsible for recruiting research participants in the region. This will involve meeting with research participants, explaining the study procedure, and providing feedback on the research findings to participants. S/he will assist in data collection using online surveys and send out invitations and electronic reminders. The research assistant will also perform basic data analyses under the guidance of the principal investigator, using EXCEL and SPSS. The post will last for two years, starting on 1st September 2017. 

The successful applicant must be highly motivated and organized, have excellent communication skills in French, and be fluent in English. S/he will have a Masters degree in Psychology, ideally with a specialization in occupational and organizational psychology (psychologie du travail et des organisations). Previous research experience using quantitative methodology is desirable.
