Celebrating the convention theme, example topics might also include, but are not limited to, the relevance of communication training and development scholarships and practices in:
- Shaping and defining specific contemporary social movements
- Responding to the health care needs of the day

- Advancing positive/affirmative innovations in the workplace, schools, or public sphere
All submitters are encouraged to review the Professional Standards for Convention Participants prior to submission. Helpful resources, including live and recorded step-by-step instructions on how to submit, are available at the Convention Library. All submitters of papers or participants in panels are encouraged to conduct their sessions with as much audience interaction as possible. Every effort should be made to prevent the reading of papers or delivery of formal presentations. The division provides awards to top papers and panels.
