POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION:
Assistant/Associate Professor of Management (Full-Time, Tenure-Track, Nine-Month Faculty Position, Beginning Fall 2017)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual hired will have responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. The individual must be qualified to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses primarily in Human Resource Management area. As part of these teaching requirements, it is expected that the individual possesses a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Faculty members are also expected to exhibit a capacity to produce scholarly research and be involved in service activities to the university, college, and profession which include student advising. The teaching load is three courses per academic semester.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in Management with emphasis on Human Resource Management and/or Organizational Behavior or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school. ABDs will be considered, but must provide strong evidence that all doctoral degree requirements will be completed by May 2018. Individuals must have the abilities and skills consistent with teaching excellence as well as evidence of and/or potential for scholarly productivity.
RANK AND SALARY:
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
