  • 1.  Request for Management Skills Course Syllabi

    Dear colleagues,

    I will be teaching an undergraduate level management course—Contemporary Skills for Business Professionals. This course is designed to develop the following skills and competencies of the business administration student:

    • Communication Skills and Individual Effectiveness
    • Diversity Management Skills and Competencies
    • Collaboration/Team-Building Skills
    • Problem-Solving/Critical Thinking/Empirical
    • Inquiry Skills Technology
    • Information/Data Management Leadership

    If you have taught a similar course, could you recommend a textbook? I would also appreciate it a lot if you would share your syllabus and reading materials with me. Thank you in advance for your help!

    I taught a similar course to engineers in a workshop format at the graduate level. I used the Whetten and Cameron text. I am enclosing a course outline for you. Good luck with the course.
