    Assistant or Associate Professor Position in Management (Job ID 11702)

     

    The Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF) is searching for an outstanding candidate to fill a tenured/ tenure-track faculty position with research and teaching interests in the Management & Organization area at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

     

    Candidates must have a PhD in Management or a related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution if it is in the US. If the terminal degree is from an international university, candidates must provide evidence that the institution is equivalently accredited. Candidates who are expected to complete their terminal degree by July 31, 2017 are also encouraged to apply.

     

    The applicant must demonstrate a research interest in topics related to management and organization. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, organizational behavior, organizational theory, human resource management, human resource analytics, international management, and innovation and creativity.

                   

    Preference will be given to (1) candidates possessing a track record, commensurate with experience, of publishing in leading journals in the management and organization area or related fields (2) candidates whose research aligns with analytics and/or creativity – part of the distinctive identity of the Muma College of Business (3) candidates who have a track record or demonstrate potential for high quality teaching and (4) candidates with demonstrated interest and success in externally funded research.

     

    The Management and Organization field is housed in the Information Systems & Decision Sciences department at the Muma College of Business. The department faculty engage in fundamental and applied research in management and organization, information systems and business analytics and publish in the leading journals in the management & organization, information systems, business analytics and related areas. The department serves a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs at the college and university levels including the B.S. in Business Administration with majors and minors in Management; Business Analytics and Information Systems; M. S. in Management; M.S. in Business Analytics and Information Systems; M.S. in Cybersecurity; MBA; executive MBA; PhD; and DBA.
