Psychology and Business, Indiana University-Bloomington: The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences
Indiana University-Bloomington: The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking applications for a full-time teaching faculty member (Senior Lecturer) to spearhead a new, highly innovative, and rigorous Undergraduate Certificate Program in Psychology and Business. The certificate program will enroll high-achieving undergraduates in psychology, business, and related fields and provide training in several areas, including human factors, industrial and organizational psychology, decision making, and applications of cognitive psychology to marketing and advertising. Job duties consist primarily of undergraduate teaching, supervision of undergraduate community outreach consulting, outreach to industry and fostering of internship opportunities, and curation of the certificate program. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong teaching record and demonstrated commitment to cutting-edge pedagogical methods, or comparable experience in industry. Minimum qualification is a graduate degree in psychology, or a graduate business degree with an emphasis on psychology applications. This will be a full-time, non-tenure track, Lecturer appointment beginning with a 3 year renewable appointment and opportunities for promotion.
