    Hello Listserve Members:

    Last month, I sent around a request for executive-level exercises and cases on teams. One person responded with the following advice.

    I'm a big fan of three different Harvard team-based cases (and topics):

     

    Henry Tam (Team composition and process)

    Sun Microsystems (Global teams)

    Army Crew Team (Conflict)

     

    The Everest Simulation is also good, but not something I have used with executives.

     

    I also like to show two clips about the Blue Angels:

    Finally, I find the Fortune article "Elite Teams Get the Job Done" (1996) to have relevant examples of a variety of teams, particularly useful when talking to a diverse group.
