Nominations and applications are invited for a full-time tenure track position for the Headship of the Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The candidate must possess an earned doctorate or equivalent and should give evidence of demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and service sufficient to merit the rank of full professor in the Department. Preference will be given to a person who shows promise to provide strong and effective academic leadership for the Department. The candidate should be able to lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary group of faculty and students. The candidate should also be capable of constructive and successful interaction with business organizations and other external groups to generate resources for the Department. As Department Head, he or she is responsible for academic, administrative and budgetary matters as well as effective liaison within the College and University.
