The Executive Committee of the Organizational Communication and Information Systems (OCIS) Division of the Academy of Management is excited to sponsor a 2016 OCIS Division PDW entitled "Big Data - Implications for Research on Organizations and Technology" on Saturday, August 6 8:30 – 10:30 am in the Hilton Anaheim, Catalina 3.
We have assembled an outstanding group of experts who will discuss this topic from different perspectives focusing on implications for research that would be of interest to OCIS members, as well as the larger AOM membership, including the opening up new areas of research as well as need for new methods.
The session will include a keynote talk by Alex (Sandy) Pentland – MIT and a panel discussion with following participants:
