Want to liven up your lectures? Help your students retain what you teach? Have more fun at work?
Join us for "Make 'em Laugh: Using Humor as a Tool for Learning" to discuss using humor in the classroom!
In this highly interactive PDW, you can learn more about the dynamics that enable effective humor use in the classroom, even if you are not a comedian. In the workshop, you will gain insights into relevant humor literature, assess you own humor style and observe and critique video examples of humor in the classroom. You will have the opportunity to hear directly from a professor who successfully incorporates the use of humor in the classroom and discuss past experiences using humor in the classroom as well as developing action plans for the future.
The session will be held on Friday, Aug 5 2016 12:15PM - 2:15PM at Sheraton Park Hotel in Palm West. No pre-registration required.
We hope you will join us for an engaging discussion on how to best utilize humor in the classroom!
