PostDoc Position in a project on multiple goals in middle adulthood in the context of the NCCR "LIVES"
Starting as soon as possible, I have a PostDoc position opening in my lab at the University of Zurich (Switzerland; see: http://www.psychologie.uzh.ch/en/fachrichtungen/lifespan/forschung.html). The post doc will work with me on a project on the pursuit of multiple goals across adulthood combining laboratory and field (experience sampling or diary) studies. This project will investigate the role of goal focus (on the means vs. the ends of a given goal) on exhaustion and recovery when pursuing multiple goals in midlife. The position (100% for 2 years) is in the context of the subproject "MyLife" within the NCCR "LIVES".
The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Psychology and has a strong interest and solid skills in lifespan developmental research. S/he is interested in motivational changes across adulthood and experienced in at least one of the following methodological areas: Experimental design and data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, experience sampling / diary method. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
Interested candidates should send their application (curriculum vitae, letter of motivation, two central publications) as soon as possible in electronic version (in one PDF-file) as well as two letters of recommendation (should be emailed directly from the recommending person) to freund@psychologie.uzh.ch. Applications are possible until the post is filled.
