OB Division Making Connections Networking Event (AOM Session #1319)

    Monday, August 8, 2016

    3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

    Anaheim Convention Center, 204C

    Dear Colleagues:

Would you like a fun and easy timeout from your hectic AOM schedule to enjoy some refreshments and the company of your colleagues? Are you interested in discussing research ideas with experts in your field? Would you like to make connections with other scholars and develop future research collaborations? If so, please mark your calendars to join the OB Division's Making Connections Committee on Monday, August 8 in the Anaheim Convention Center, Room 204C from 3pm to 4:30pm.

In an effort to develop smaller, more connectable communities within the OB division, the Making Connections Committee is launching a new reception this year. Our goal is for attendees to have an opportunity both renew their connections with other scholars, as well as develop new connections with others who share their research interests. To facilitate this, we will have tables dedicated to different areas of research where you can converse with experts in those areas. These experts will help you to unpack your ideas and to make connections with other conference-goers in the hopes that you can develop long-lasting, fruitful research collaborations. Please see below for a list of topic areas and experts who will be on hand to chat research with you.

So please, join us! We will have plenty of room for you to mingle with others and enjoy some great snacks (chips & guacamole, pita & hummus, strawberry lemonade, iced tea, and cookies) courtesy of the Making Connections Committee. Do not miss out on this great opportunity to meet experts in your field of study and develop new research collaborations with those who share your passion! Mark your calendars, and we look forward to seeing you there!
