    Greetings, OB List Members!

The Organization Development and Change Division is pleased to announce the 2016 ODC Junior Faculty PDW. If you have started a faculty position in the last few years, recently graduated with your doctorate, or are currently in a doctoral program, this workshop is for you!

We created this PDW to engage in a conversation covering the important topics in the field of organizational development and change, ranging from gaining tenure at a top-tier research institution, working as a scholar-practitioner, and learning what it takes to navigate the academic waters. The session is organized around a panel discussion with a diverse group of scholars from the ODC division. The forum was designed to facilitate a discussion with both leading scholars in the ODC division, and new members interested in this community of scholar-practitioners.

This year's Panelists offer a range of scholarly and practitioner perspectives, along with diverse geographic perspectives. The roster includes:

    • Senior Scholar:  Jeffrey Ford, The Ohio State University (ret)
    • Senior Scholar-Practitioner: Dave Jamieson, St. Thomas University
    • Scholar-Practitioner: Tonya Henderson, Colorado Tech University & Gly Solutions
    • Tenured Scholar:  James Vardaman, Mississippi State University
    • International Scholar:  Sonja Sackmann, University BwMunich

The workshop will be held on the Friday, August 5, 2016 prior to the start of the Academy of Management annual meeting in Anaheim.  We will meet from 3:15 – 6:15 pm in the Anaheim Marriott Grand Ballroom Salon H.

If you have questions, please contact the organizers Julie Smendzuik-O'Brien (jsmendzuik@gmail.com) and Tomas Thundiyil (tomasthundiyil@gmail.com).

We look forward to meeting you in August!  Bring a friend!
