  • 1.  MBA groups/teams case?

    Posted 06-22-2016 21:05
    Hi Everyone,
I am teaching an MBA leadership course, and am seeking a case study that specifically looks at how leaders manage the group and team function. In particular, I'm looking for anything that involves  team member selection, member role making/taking, applying Tuckman's stages of group development or Gersick's punctuated equilibrium, groupthink/groupshift, and/or other monitoring processes.

Perhaps such a case is asking too much, so anything that touches on at least a couple of these topics would be valuable.

    Thanks!

    -Alex

I have used C&S Wholesale grocers for self-managed teams.  Doesn't get much into the other processes you are discussing, but it is a very good case about SMT.

    Hello Alex,

Check out the The Army Crew Team. Most students in Masters classes liked it.

    Warm regards,
