    Apologies for Cross-Postings!

    Dear Management Scholars,

I am looking for cases, activities or simulation exercises that focus on managing in the Hospitality Industry (Tourism, Hotel, Casino, etc.) for my Management Principles/OB class.

I would appreciate your suggestions or any material you can share.

    Thank you very much.

A classic HBS (paper) case in operations management ("Benihana") with a hospitality theme has been turned into a simulation suitable for classroom use.

    Dear Edward,

You can consider exploring the teaching cases at the Asian Business Case Centre at Nanyang Business School in Singapore.

I believe the center also has a special collection on hotels/hospitality: http://www.asiacase.com/indProj-hospitality.html.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Edward,

You may wish to refer the case Roaring Dragon Hotel that looks at issues related to change management and challenges owing to merger of two organisations with contrasting cultures.

The case is available on Ivey Publishing.

    Hello Edward,

I second Ranjeet's suggestion; I have been using that case for several years now in my cross cultural mgt class. Another one, dealing with similar CC issues but in a Russian environment is the Moscow Aerostar Hotel Case.

    Warm regards,

    Jacob
