Dear Loren,
I prepared a similar course, on HR Metrics and Analytics for graduates last year. Now, I offer it for the 3rd time with positive feedback.
You can find the outline in attachment, for ideas. Please share yours when complete.
Good luck with it!

Dear Colleagues,
I have been asked to explore developing an HR Analytics course for undergraduates and one for graduate students.
Can you please send me any syllabi, assignments, exercises, or other relevant course material that you have used? I would also appreciate any suggested articles and books on this topic. What approaches to this material have worked well for you?
I am completely new to the emerging "analytics" aspect of HRM albeit I am somewhat familiar with the literatures about evidence-based management, ROI, Balanced Scorecard, etc. So, any information about your experiences teaching the course would be helpful.
Next week, I will be attending "People Analytics & The Future of Work 2016" which is a professional conference where major companies will be reporting on their use of and effectiveness with using big data for HR decisions and strategies. Hopefully, it will give me more insight into best practices and challenges. Any insights from anyone who has attended one of these conferences would also be appreciated.
Thanks so much,
