assessment center approach for prior learning assessment

    Hello, everyone. 

     

        Are there any of you whose college is using or has used an assessment center approach, exercises, simulations, work samples for prior learning assessment (PLA) to

     

    provide course credit for skills acquired from experience?  A secondary question is related to assessment of learning of students who are

     

    graduating (exit exam/assessment of learning) using the same approach.  What has been your experience with this?

     

        I appreciate any information you can provide.
